How We Met
In October 2018, during a family function, Praveen and I truly met for the first time. We had known each other as relatives, but that day felt different. What started as a simple conversation slowly turned into something meaningful. His calm nature, the way he spoke with kindness and respect, made me feel comfortable instantly. I didn’t know it then, but that day marked the beginning of our beautiful journey.
How He Proposed
On my birthday in September, he surprised me with a cake and the warmest wishes. I was already happy, enjoying the simple celebration, when he gently expressed his feelings for me. It wasn’t dramatic or loud — it was sincere, heartfelt, and completely unexpected. In that quiet moment, I felt a mixture of surprise and happiness that I will always cherish.
How I Accepted
After he shared his feelings, I took two weeks to truly reflect. Choosing a life partner is one of the most important decisions in life, and I wanted to be certain. His patience, understanding, and the respect he showed me gave me confidence and clarity. In November, I finally said “yes,” knowing that this was a journey I wanted to walk with him.
Our Engagement Day
Love requires patience and understanding, and together we took that step. With the blessings of our families, we got engaged in August 2025. That day was emotional and unforgettable for me — introducing my best friend as my life partner. Now, as we look forward to April 6, 2026, we are excited to begin the next beautiful chapter of our lives together.
